The Condensed Project was inspired from founder Chelsea Ng's personal heritage connection to Mauritius, a small island east of Madagascar. Growing up with ties to the island, Chelsea was struck by the wide gap in resources between Mauritius and the United States, which ultimately inspired her to take action.​

After five years in the social media industry, Chelsea recognized a major problem: influencer PR waste.

Brands were shipping mass amounts of products to influencers every month in hopes of gaining visibility. The result was mountains of product sitting unopened, eventually ending up in the trash. The Condensed Project was created to connect the right products with the right people, cutting out the excess and putting an end to the overflow.
